10 miles to The Bears Paw Mountains which are located south of Havre on highway 234. Beaver Creek Park, the largest county managed park is found in the Bears Paw Mountains. Outdoor recreation abounds.  There are hiking and horse trails. The hunting and fishing is excellent.  The area offers a great place to camp, and just kick back enjoy that slower pace of life. There is a small ski hill that is enjoyed by many during the winter months.
